Birth Doula Services
There is nothing more special than the birth of your baby. I consider it an honor to be present and support you during your labor and delivery. My birth package includes 2 prenatal visits, availability 24/7 by phone, continuous support once labor has begun, as well as a 1hr postpartum visit once you and baby are home from the hospital. Many of my clients love the convenience of my childbirth class that is taught in the comfort of your home. Please see my information sheet for more details.

Carol was a god send during my wife's pregnancy and labor. Having her around to answer all my questions and especially to calm me down during labor was invaluable. She knew exactly what to do and when to do it which ultimately made it a lot easier and less painful on my wife. I would have been lost without her and who knows how long the labor would have lasted without her expertise to assist us in knowing how to speed things along. Welcome Violet
Violet Ramseur arrived at 10:05 pm at North Central Baptist Hospital. She is welcomed by her parents Kate & Lee Ramseur and her big sister Lilly. As you can see her big sister Lilly is very happy to have her. She told her mom Kate that she is a pretty, pretty, baby doll.
With my first pregnancy I was diagnosed late in pregnancy with a condition called choleostasis or ICP. This is a condition that is life threatening to the baby and the best treatment is to be induced. Because my doctors kept putting off my induction my sweet baby girl Rain was stillborn. At the birth of my 2nd daughter Serenity, I was blessed to have the help of my doula Carol Marley. I was so.... nervous throughout my pregnancy. I had crazy anxiety that something terrible would happen. When I hired Carol I told her my story and how much I wanted this baby delivered by 36 weeks due to my previous experience. It turned out that they couldn't deliver her until 37 wks. That sent me into a terrible depression because I knew the risk of stillbirth goes up dramatically after 36 wks. During that last week Carol called me every single day, most days more than once. She would just call to check on me and see if I needed anything. She would spend a long time just talking to me, praying for me over the phone and telling me such calming things. She came to my house several times and I never felt rushed and always asked her a million questions. Having to be induced scared me too. She met me at the hospital the day of my induction. I was spazzing because I was so.. scared. I just wanted to have my baby in my arms, healthy and ALIVE! She helped me get through the labor and kept me calm the whole time. She has continued to be there for me after the birth and has helped me in soo..many ways. My favorite part about her is that she got me :) I highly recommend Carol. I would 200% use her again.
